OMG! I am so with you! I used to eat cottage cheese by the bucket load. Now it makes me sick. I even hate the smell of bacon. Who hates bacon?! That is just so wrong.

I really like the pre-made (ready to drink) premier Protein. I hate the powder because it gets so thick. It reminds me of the awful greek yogurt everyone raves about and I hate.

i saw a receipe on a website where a lady put soft tofu in a smoothie for her kids. Tofu has no flavor and she said it added protein to a strawberry smoothie she made. I haven't tried it yet but that may help you. She did recommend the soft tofu (instead of firm) as it blends better.

What kind of Protein are you liking the best post op? I am having trouble with the taste of anything except Vitamin Water zero...

Glad to know that I am not alone!!!! I have spent so much money trying new forms of protein that people have recommended on this site. It's such a snuggle getting in my daily recommended amount of protein because this stuff is plain NASTY!!!!

I purchased unflavored whey protein from GNC and mix it with a crystal light and water. Although the whey is a milk based product, the results were surprisingly tasty! I guess just have to get creative and make your own drinks. I will be soooo glad when this phase is over!!! I'm only 2 was post op. Feel amazing; just challenged with getting my daily recommended among of protein in. Hope this post helps!! Let me know what recipes you invent :-). Good luck

I am on full liquids now and just do the best I can on the protein. Today I put my tortilla soup chicken, cheese and The hubby's left over guacamole in the food processor and it is smooth and creamy and ate that lol!!!

I use the pre-made premier protein as well. Choc flav. Didn't much enjoy the strawberry. I also eat a string cheese everyday. I read that it's approved on the cream liquid phase. I've had no Problem tolerating. Also chicken soups have protein. I've surprisingly been able to get mine in daily and no hair loss yet. Yay!!

I am 5 months post op and ALL liquids taste bad to me :( I have been getting bad headaches and I think maybe it's dehydration. I've tried everything :(
