I told only one person; my boyfriend and only because we dine out so much that he'd know something was different. Other than that, not a single soul at the office nor anyone in my rather large family. Health is very private and it is your discretion to share your info or not. I do; however encourage you to let at least one trustworthy person in; you'll need the help and support afterwards. I am going on 3 weeks post op and feeling amazing!! Glad to know that I am not alone!!!! I have spent so much money trying new forms of protein that people have recommended on this site. It's such a snuggle getting in my daily recommended amount of protein because this stuff is plain NASTY!!!! I purchased unflavored whey protein from GNC and mix it with a crystal light and water. Although the whey is a milk based product, the results were surprisingly tasty! I guess just have to get creative and make your own drinks. I will be soooo glad when this phase is over!!! I'm only 2 was post op. Feel amazing; just challenged with getting my daily recommended among of protein in. Hope this post helps!! Let me know what recipes you invent :-). Good luck

Are you able to drink a whole shake at one sitting? Sorry for all of the questions, just trying to understand what things will be like once I get thru this phase. Thank you so much for answering them:-)

At 8weeks, are you still on liquids only? What types of foods can you eat?

Do you still feel pain when you drink or eat? Does that feeling ever subside?

I feel really good! I get pains when I eat but they go away within seconds; I figure, it's just my new belly adjusting. Did your stomach ache after each meal? Does this feeling eventually subside?

Day 3-I can't take in more than 2-3oz of fluids. Is this normal? And when will I feel normal again? Regrets :-(

Day 2, a little sore but feeling ok. Having a leak test in a little bit so that I can start liquids and prepare for discharge; if all goes well. Any advice; as I begin my new journey?

Sleeved this morning!!! Surprisingly, I'm feeling not too bad. Been up walking around the floor several times. Nothing to drink today. Tomorrow starts my liquids. Other than feeling groggy from the anesthesia, I feel great!!!!! HW 224 SW 200 GW 130
