What to expect postop day 6

Hello fellow sleevers

I was sleeved October 1st so today is postop day 6 for me. My surgery went really well and I was not required to have a drain. My biggest issue postop was nausea, that was the worst. I was discharged the next morning in the am. Since then I have been doing fairly good. I have been totally off all pain meds since Saturday. I've been feeling a lil bloated the last few days, which make it a lil more difficult to get my fluids in, but with the help of gasx I'm doing ok. I had my first postop appt. today and my surgeon said I look more like I'm 3weeks postop and he's very happy with my progress. I feel very blessed that thus far I've been managing well and I thank god and my friends and family for all the many prayers and support.

I'm posting my early progress because I found that it was hard to find many people posting early progress reports, and this was an area that I was very interested in.

Please post so pre op sleevers can see what to expect from all stages.

This is true, and the more the merrier! Here is the message I've been sending everyone:

Since the group is secret, direct links to it won't work so I have to invite people via email unless they're Facebook friends. If you'd like to send me your email address, I'll send out an invitation right away.

Would love to join. Band to sleeve revision tomorrow morning! htravelstead@hotmail.com

Sleeved October 15, Memphis, TN! My email is nootie2@aol.com. Please add me to the FB group. Thanks!

If you are sent a FB invite, does it show to your friends list you joined a group? Most people don't know I had this surgery and I don't want to let them know :)

Thanks !

Per Krimrod - for anyone who doesn't want Facebook friends to know about your surgery - Closed groups may still show up on your timeline and people can see that you are a member of that group. I don't want anyone to be accidentally "outed".

Bit the name of the group is October 2014 Sleevers - so if haven't discussed it with friends they probably won't give it a second thought

@@chellede Everything above is true. Closed groups may show up on your timeline.

However, the group I'm sending email invitations for is a private group - no one will see that you've joined it and only members can see your posts.

I'll add those of you above who gave me your email address today. I'm at work right now and for whatever reason the phone app won't let me add people to the group so I have to wait until I get home.
