Had my surgery September 24th

I had my surgery on September 24th with Dr Baranov at Saratoga Hospital. I've been home now for 2days and feeling great.

My recovery has been easy, not too much pain and just getting to know the limits of my new pouch.

I'm drinking/sipping water, taking in 1-2oz of protein shake 3 times a day and walking at least 30 minutes 2 times per day.

I feel fantastic and can't wait for more days to come. My husband, my son and my parents have been a big part of this journey and I think because of their support I'm doing so well.

Best of luck with your journey!

Wow, I'm impressed you are having shakes the first week! My surgeon only allows clear liquid for 7 days. Which for me is isopure and water. Actually got sick off the isopure and had to stop. Now I'm just having water and fat free chicken broth. Start 2nd week tomorrow and can't wait to have a shake! 2nd week is full liquids.

I had my surgery on the 22nd of sept an I felt really good the next day, thought it wud be more painful than it was so hopefully the pain will get easier over the next few days...
