Liquid diet

Started my diet today surgery on Thursday and omg I feel so light headed what did you guys eat for the liquid diet before surgery is yogurt okay or pudding

I started mine last week too. I can have sugar free carnation instant breakfast, sugar free jello and sugar free Popsicles and of course lots of water.

The day before surgery I get broth.

My doctor requires only Clear liquids ( you have to be able to see through the drink) for the 3 days before surgery.

So, NO to yogurt or pudding. Water, clear broth, sugar free drinks, sugar free Jello, decaf tea and the like. You may want to give your doc a call tomorrow to confirm.
