Should I be seen

Last night while doing the dishes I got chest pain. I tried to brush it off but eventually had to sit down which made it better. Then the pain seemed to move down to my upper middle left side and would only get better when sitting. It eventually stopped but now every time I take a sip I get pain. I've never had this problem before. I'm exactly two weeks out and am afraid something is wrong.

I'm two weeks out too and I'm not experiencing anything like that. I think you need to call your surgeon and see what they suggest. I hope all is well.

I agree. I'd definitely give your bariatric team a call. They'll likely have some follow-up questions that may help get to the root of it over the phone, or could suggest you go in to be seen, but with as much as we have to drink post-surgery, having pain like that with each sip sounds like something they need to hear about.
