Question. I am 6 days post op and still having extreme nausea. I can barley drink 2 ounces a day. Any tips or suggestions?

Call you doctor he can order something for nausea.

Did ur dr call something in or are u dehydrated an need iv fluids? Keep us posted..that long with very lil fluids I bet u are dehydrated. ..

I came home with zofran and phenergan. I have been taking them both quite often. I'm a nurse so I have been checking my skin turgor and other signs of dehydration daily. So far I think I'm ok. Just very tired. Today seems to be a lot better.

I'm 3 days post and have had one bout of nausea immediately after surgery. Anesthesiologist put a patch behind my ear (like those you get for a cruise) and I have a script for phenergan that I haven't used yet. Also not having any problems getting liquids down.

U are doing great then. Hope it continues for you. I seem to be a little better today. Hope I am now on the upswing.

Try an ice lolly or I've pop, they've helped me, I'm 5 days post op x
