My time is getting closer, but it still feels so far away. I have been working on surgery since March and finally I have a date. October 2nd. I have an awesome support team that is ready to help me. I have to start preparing myself. I m excited and scared at the same time!

I know exactly how you feel about having the date. Last November I found out insurance requirements were changing... Submitted paperwork Jan. 1st..... Surgery date Oct. 7th. I have tons of support and everyone from work to church to friends have been 100% supportive.

We must have started around the same time..I started in March and my surgery date is set for Oct. 15th. You will do great! I think it's just hard not knowing exactly what to expect. People are about to tell you their experiences and what not, but everyone is different

I am also scheduled for October 7th. Seems so far away but the count down has begun.
