  • I don't think so. My Initial weight was 247 Lbs, BMI of 38.5, I was sleeved three weeks ago (TODAY) and have come down to 202 Lbs. Good Luck to you. I am also in Pa, keep us posted.

It all depends on the insurance company and Dr. My insurance company says 30 BMI without co-morbidities or 27 BMI with 2.

I all depends of the insurance now am 5'8' 235 just made it..lol but am diabetic and i have mild sleep apnea..so my insurance company gave me the green light...

Good luck!!!

It sounds like you are. Call your insurance company and verify. Good luck.

I'm not sure about the high cholesterol. Def the high blood pressure qualifies. Have you ever been tested for sleep apnea?

Im in tenn i have united health care .i havent been tested for sleep apnea where do you get tested for that .

It is something that has to be ordered by a doctor. I had mine before I was considering surgery and it was ordered by my ENT doctor (ear nose throat). You can also ask your primary doctor about it.

Your bariatric doc will probably set you up for testing though.

Have you talked to a surgeon? They can tell you. Do you have insurance? That makes a difference. Find a seminar in your area and talk to a surgeon and his staff. Good luck!!
