My flight to San Diego leaves in a little less than 4 hours. Then across the border into Mexico and straight into surgery! I cannot believe that the time is already here! I'm so excited but so scared at the same time! Good luck my fellow 9/24 sleevers!

I was sleeved on Sept 9. I was reversed from Lap Band. I also had to have my gullbladder taken out. The pain at first was unbearable but I am feeling wonderful now. I tried to go back to work in 6 days. That didn't work out very well for me. I ended up taking off the rest of the week. I am back to work now. I have a desk job and have a little discomfort where my big incision is due to my pants sitting on it all day. I am on soft foods. Everything seems to be going to down great. I can only take 3 bites of my food and then I am full but hungary again in 2 hours or so. I am 2 weeks and 1 day post op and I am down 21 pounds. Still have aobut 70-80 more that I would love to loose.

Do you feel hunger pains? How do you know you are hungry?

Usually my belly starts to growl like it use to so I take 2 or 3 bites of something and it goes away and I am full again.

My stomach start to growl, like it use to before the surgery. I take 2-3 bites of something and then full again for a while.

Now post op. Sore but ok. Gas is awful. Going to bed now. Hope all the other 24th people did well

My surgery is Friday @ 7am. I'm so excited. :D

Surgery was yesterday. Doctor said it went perfectly. I just had my leak test and everything looks great! Now someone bring me water and juice ha ha! Haven't had anything since Tuesday night. The gas is horrendous though. Yuck!

are you allowed to take the gas x strips for the gas?

I am. And yes they help.

Hi , I had my sleeve done on Monday 9/22/14, was in the hospital tues and came home on wednesday, I am feeling good, they told me I would be having a lot of gas pains up in shoulder area but my gas pains are mainly in my belly, sort of like bad cramps..... no nausea.... my doctor gave me a RX for Bentyl to stop the spasm in the stomach, but I did buy Gas-X strips also haven;t used them yet. my pain level is about an 8 out of 10, have 5 holes in stomach, hurts on coughing, sneezing, walking, but all this will get better...... taking full liquid diet, including a cream soup, I am a diabetic, and they sent me home without any insulin and my blood sugar this morning was 104. they said with removal of 3/4 of the stomach they also remove the diabetic hormone and within 2-3 months or sooner i will NOT BE A DIABETIC ANYMORE!! how great is that!!!! I lost 11 lbs going into surgery......hang in there all of you..... :) Judy Bucz 9/25/14
