  1. You deserve SO much better than that honey! Keeping him ad a friend is perfectly fine, but move out and find some stud muffin lover! Having a best friend is great. But having a best friend INSTEAD of a loving committed relationship....all the amazing brown chicken brown cow included? Not worth it! Don't let that man close to you post surgery! If you're not getting the goods now, don't let him have them after! He doesn't deserve them!
  2. I dont understand what I'm doing wrong. I'm eating exactly what I'm supposed to. Getting my fluid. Getting my protein. 800 calories a day. And I haven't lost a single thing since October 3rd. I'm so discouraged. I'm really starting to regret this decision. How do you fail at weight loss surgery?! :(
  3. We are so close to identical! I was sleeved 9/24. Starting weight was 252.6, got down to 241.8 with pre op diet, and weighed in this morning at 230.4. I had a straight week without losing an ounce! I feel you! But just remember it's a process. We'll get there! It may seem like nothing so far, but just remember...you will NEVER be in the 250's, 240's, or 230's again. That's saying a lot and a huge accomplishment.
  4. I was sleeved same day. I'm pretty much eating what I want/my body agrees with now. Had some crab last night and I was in heaven! However, I tried a chicken strip today and it did not go over well! The chicken was okay, but the breading tried to kill me!
  5. You'd be surprised actually. I'm 15 days out. Gained 9 pounds I'm the hospital but lost it all. I have the sounds in my stomach as well. I call it my gurgly stummy. My mom and sister are both 3 years out. They still have their gurgly stummies. The three of us together make quite a bit of noise at a meal!
  6. I'm so incredibly discouraged. I am 15 days post op. I lost great...for a week. Now I'm GAINING weight! I don't even understand how that's possible!
  7. I am so discouraged yesterday was two weeks post op for me and I haven't lost anything in a week! I have no idea why. I can't stop crying and I just feel like I made a huge mistake.
  8. Hello! I was sleeved September 24th. Things are going great. I'm on full liquids still and cheddar soup is my go to! Haven't eaten anything that bothers me yet. I believe I did let myself get a little dehydrated. I was really weak and couldn't do much and then realized I was only dr I bring like 20 ounces of anything all day. Upped it yesterday ad actually hut my 64 ounces and gained a pound and a half as a result. That's pretty discouraging.
  9. I'm five days out. Starting to feel more normal, still a ways to go though. Does anyone else feel literally every single thing as it goes into your stomach and then moved into your intestines? If so, how long does this last? It doesn't hurt but it is uncomfortable.
  10. I've officially been released from the hosoital! I fly back home tomorrow. I'm feeling all right. My belly is a little gurgly buy I'm doing awesome with my fluids. The hardest part for me is figuring out how to get up especially if I'm laying down!
  11. I'm allowed to go gas strip too. I haven't tried them yet though.
  12. Surgery was yesterday. Doctor said it went perfectly. I just had my leak test and everything looks great! Now someone bring me water and juice ha ha! Haven't had anything since Tuesday night. The gas is horrendous though. Yuck!
  13. My flight to San Diego leaves in a little less than 4 hours. Then across the border into Mexico and straight into surgery! I cannot believe that the time is already here! I'm so excited but so scared at the same time! Good luck my fellow 9/24 sleevers!
  14. Im feeling the same way. I can't stop worrying that I'm making a mistake. I know I'm not, but it's hard to turn that teeny part of my brain off.
  15. Im going with Ready For A Change, their tijuana office. Dr. Fernando Garcia is performing my surgery. He's done three others on my family members so far. I'm so nervous!
  16. Same. Getting sleeved on Wednesday the 24th!
  17. Yep! Going in this Wednesday. I'm so nervous!
  18. I went this route because I'm sell pay. Everything but the flight down is $4400.00. Can't pass that up compared to like 17K in my state. The doctor I picked in Mexico preformed a sleeve surgery on both my mother, sister, and aunt. All safe. All successful. None had any issues whatsoever afterwards. I completely trust it.
  19. Whoo hoo!!!! I'm a Mexico patient too!!! Tijuana!!!!
  20. Yay!!!!! Eight days and our lives change FOREVER!!!!!
  21. Well, Dr. Garcia did my mom and my sisters sleeve and he did an awesome job! I think the Mexico route is a great option to look into
  22. And there's no possibility that it can still come through for that date?
  23. I'm so sorry sweetie what day was supposed to be your surgery date?
