Where are my September 24th sleevers??? I want a friend to go through this all with on the same day as me!!!

I'm with you! I had no intention of keeping it a secret. I'm fortunate to have an amazing supportive husband! And two of my family members have already been sleeved, so they''re of course very understanding and supportive. But when I told my best friend.....DID NOT go over well! She has always been bigger than me, and unfortunately a very jealous person. She tells me all the time that she worries about me turning into a bitch once I've lost weight and the dangers of the surgery and how she knows I'll be extremely unhappy after the surgery and yada yada yada. It's really unfortunate and makes me really sad. I'm not doing this to be skinny. I'm doing this to be healthy and all she can see is that I will continue to be skinnier than her. After her reaction, I have not a single other person and I don't intend to.

Looks like we have the same surgery date I have the exact same feelings that you're having! I can handle all of the struggles of this surgery. But I'm so scared to be skinny! I have never been skinny in my adult life. I feel like I'm about to become a whole new person and I have no idea how to do it. I have an awesome support system, and I know that I'll be just fine. But I'm absolutely terrified!!

New to the website and getting sleeved on September 24th!! Today was my first day of pre-op diet. I'm really excited, but I'm absolutely terrified to do this!!!!!!!!!
