Birth control!

Are any of you ladies on bc and if so which one? I don't know if bc will affect my band. i.e the pill or gaining weight with the shot.

Your eating habits make you gain weight not birth control. You have to stay in check. It's always easier to blame it on medication. But that one pill can not make you gain weight.

    I've gained weight from the shot before and i know the pill doesn't make you gain i've tried both but with the band idk if i could take the pill. I'll talk to my doctor when i go for my follow up on saturday.

    I take sprintec. It's a very small pill. I have 6.8cc in my band right now and I've never had a problem taking it.

    Most bc pills are small so you should have no problems.

    The pill doesn't necessarily make you gain weight but the hormones that are released definitely play a part in weight gain. I have Mirena IUD and the hormones stay located to that specific area. It usually does not encourage weight gain
