  1. I started with 5.5cc at surgery, 1st fill .8cc, second fill .5cc, 3rd fill .4cc. I'm at 7.2cc and I feel good here.
  2. I take sprintec. It's a very small pill. I have 6.8cc in my band right now and I've never had a problem taking it. Most bc pills are small so you should have no problems.
  3. You can use mfp through your PC to track your nutrition. It's probably not as convenient as app though. Does your kindle have a browser? You could probably get mfp through browser if it does .
  4. I'm in Plano. I can do weekends or weekday evenings
  5. My favorite are cookie dough and double chocolate chunk
  6. Anyone using myfitnesspal? I find it's a great tool to help me track my macros. At first I struggled to get into Protein, but mfp has seriously helped me zero in how I need to structure what I eat to be successful. It also helps me track my weight and measurements. If anyone would like to add me as a friend my username is NikiCBaby Feel free to add your username!
  7. I'm wondering if I am too! I'm at 6.8 cc in my band after 2 fills (yesterday my second) and not hungry at all. I haven't felt hunger though since my prior to surgery.
  8. I was about 3-4 weeks post op
  9. My first fill was .8cc and I had nothing added to my band during surgery. I have my second fill tomorrow, 2 weeks after 1st fill
  10. This happens to me often. I always pack my own food when I travel for work. I make sure my hotel room had a fridge. For conferences I always eat before. Also sometimes I'll bring a Protein shake in a coffee travel mug, no one asks what I'm drinking and I can sip on it whenever I want. It stays cold. Also, walk around and converse with people. There seems to always be a group of people who are standing around not eating. Stay busy. If they have healthy options, I stick to Proteins and pick at it if I feel like eating

  12. I use these too. They're great.
  13. Follow me on myfitnesspal! I always get my Protein in! nikicbaby
  14. I weigh in every Friday. Between weigh ins I put my scale up in linen closet, if I don't I'll weigh in everyday.
  15. I'm pretty tight in the mornings. I usually have a premier protein shake (30g protein) that I have to slip really slow and that's it. After my band starts to loosen and I feel my tummy rumbling before lunch I'll have a cheese stick and that holds me over until I eat again.
  16. Take very small sips of water. Your probably very swollen still so it's going to be hard to get a mouthful of liquid or anything past your band. Your mouth filled up with Saliva most likely because you swallowed too much at one time. Even if it was melting ice, give yourself enough time for the liquid to move past your band. Do you get a lot of nose bleeds typically? If you're continuing to have problems swallowing even small sips please call your surgeon. Good luck. Everyday it gets better.
  17. I've been doing some meat and cheese rolls with cucumber slices. I take 3oz of chicken or turkey deli meat, roll it with three slices of ultra thin sliced Swiss cheese. I spread a little bit, about 1/4-1/2 tbsp, of chipotle cream cheese on the ends to hold it together. It's 30g of protein. I eat with some cucumber slices. It's delicious!
  18. I didn't have a post op appointment until I was 3 weeks out. I went for my 3 week appointment on Monday, got my first fill, and I'll be back in 2 weeks for my second fill. I never even saw my doctor, just a nurse, then a nurse practitioner who did my fill.
  19. Baked sweets taste too sweet for me now. I took a bite of birthday cake frosting at a family party and could barely swallow it. Same thing with a lemon berry slush from sonic, my boyfriend loves them, I tried a sip and it was way too sweet. I cannot stomach pizza anymore either. Which is a good thing I guess. Haha
  20. Oh! Lol I thought you were talking about my fitness pal. I don't know how to change my weight on here
