Sleeved this morning!

  • Popular Post

They tell me that I'm still alive, but I'm not sure I believe them. Haha

Seriously tho, not too bad so far. Pain is mild right now, tho it's all I can do to stay awake. And this TV does NOT have HD channels. Ugh.

More updates to follow over the next few days.

  • No HD?? I can't believe they have you in such wretched accommodations. Keep the updates coming. They're like crack to us pre-op peeps.

  • Two weeks post-op = down 24 pounds.

  • I had to do clear liquids for ten days after surgery, and I got tired super easily. Now that I've graduated to purees and soft foods my energy level has improved some, but I still haven't returned to

Yes walking walking will help with the gas pain

Congratulations! I am 8 days post-op and sometimes it still feels 'unreal'.

This truly is one of the best choices I have made and I look forward to the days ahead! =)

Home now. Last night in the hospital was kinda rough because every time I tried to drink anything or stand up, I would get a fit of hiccups that hurt like hell. That finally stopped this morning, and I got some fluid down and did a couple laps, and now I'm feeling pretty good. Sore, but good. :)

Sleeved on 8/7/14, Doing Great! Walk Walk Walk, and Sip Sip Sip

Sleeved yesterday morning. My procedure was outpatient, so I went in at 715 and came home about 2. Spent most of the day sleeping off anesthesia, but had little pain. Doc fixed a hiatal hernia I had and took a sample of some fat that was on my liver. Pain is a bit worse today, any moving if my trunk is rough. I haven't had much gas pain luckily. Oddly though, I feel pretty great and can't believe I had surgery yesterday. I've some strange stomach rumblings, not sure if it's gas or just that it doesn't like some of the things I'm putting in it (Popsicles and pb2 Greek yogurt smoothie).
