I haven't had my surgery yet, but I will have a drain and it is scheduled to come out 3 days post-op.

my surgeon said i will have a drain that will be removed before i leave the hospital, and that i will be in overnight only.

Surgery was August 4th. Still have a drain until later this week. Uncomfortable, but not painful.

Nope, no drain. Outpatient as well.

Drain in for my three days as an inpatient. Taken out just before discharge.

No drain. Outpatient. Ask your surgeon if he/she uses them.

No drain for me and I wasn't outpatient either.
