Im 2 weeks post op and just started purees I had some tomato sauce for lunch and threw it up can that bust open my sleeve? I felt much better after . Idk I probably had like 4 oz of sauce, how much did you guys typically eat 2 weeks post op

At 2 weeks I was on full liquids. Protein drinks and thin Soups. I would imagine tomato sauce would be fine by itself. You can have tomato Soup. Did you eat something with the sauce.

At 2 weeks I was not allowed anything that would not fit through a straw.

I was told to avoid throwing up because it can harm your sleeve. Be careful and start slowly.

some/many of us would have harmed their sleeves

to the "best of my knowledge"................

i don't think you will harm your new tummy/sleeve

you/us/me aren't happy being sick

but............nothing you can do about it

well....maybe some nausea meds doc can give you

PO, the first two weeks i was on Clear Liquids, then full liquids for the next two weeks

hopefully the "situation" will stop/clear up sooner than later
