I have been reading these boards for about 3 months. I thought I would say thank you to all of you who take the time to post your before and after experiences. I know I have learned a great deal from your experiences and I can't wait to be able to pay it forward and help new members out someday also.

I am just getting started in the process. I have my first appointment with my surgeon 08/14/14. I have already gone to my information seminar. I also have already met with the NUT, bariatric nurse, and the psych person. I am in month 3 of my 5 month supervised medical weight loss program. I joined WW and see my PCP monthly for a weigh in.

Yes it seems like the process takes for ever and than the surgery date sneaks up on you. I have settled into my new sleeved life fairly easy.

Hi I'm from England having my gastric sleeve with fobi ring a week tommorow very anxious I have three children and I lost my mum as a child so scared x

@@sianywarny good luck with your surgery. I have not heard of the fobi ring. I will have to look that one up. I am sure your children will be greatful to have a healthier more active mother. I am sorry to hear about your mom. I will keep you in my prayers and send good wishes your way Keep us posted on your progress please.
