5 days post op and so bloated :(

Hey guys, I really need your advice on this. This is my day 5 post op. The first four days went ok but since last night I feel so bloated that I feel like my incision gonna torn apart. Did any of you had such problem? What did you do? I'm freaked out and it's weekend and can't catch my surgeon :(

I'm 10 days post op and it's finally today that I feel much less bloated and swollen. Getting in the walking is making the difference.

Some people(me) can't handle pain meds. They shut down my entire digestive system. My stomach fills with food, Water, bile etc and my stomach protrudes. I get to a point where I can't eat or drink anything as there's no room. Seems like my pyloric sphincter just shuts down. So, I do not take oxycodone or any other pain relievers. Just a thought?

I felt super bloated too. Walking is the only way to fix it. But trust your body, if you feel like something is very wrong, contact your doctor asap.

We can take GAS-X??!!?? OMG! Why did no one tell me of this wonderful thing before?? Time to send the hubby back to the store!

Gas X strips are the bomb!! or actually the anti-bomb? (har har)

Yes. I was very bloated and very uncomfortable. Gas x worked for me and walking really did the trick. It won't last too much longer.
