Hello. I am scheduled for surgery on Aug 11th. I am ready....well, as ready as a totally nervous, anxious, scared, person can be
I am missing food and I'm only on my 2 week pre-op. I really miss eating. The whole routine of it. The cooking, planning, eating. I have moments of "oh I wish I could have that" to moments of "i'd give you my first born for a bite of that" But, I'm sticking to the pre-op plan, I stay busy and avoid cooking shows and I turn when a commercial comes on that makes me dream of food. I got this.
My question. After surgery do you have an appetite for food? I few years ago I took Adepex diet pills....what I loved about them is that I didn't think about food. I would get hungry but nothing sounded good. I would eat a little just to avoid hunger pangs. I LOVED THAT! It was such a feeling of control but not having to fight myself for it. So, I was just wondering if there is a period after surgery where you really just don't have an appetite?
