Craving red meat

I I am almost two weeks out and I am craving red meat! A big fat steak would take care of this, but we all know that's not the answer. Anyone else crave red meat and if so what did you do to subside this craving?

Just an idea, maybe make a juicy steak up then chew/suck out all the juices and spit out the meat. It might help

Your 2 weeks out of what? Pre surgery or Post surgery. Pre I would go eat steak. Steaks are great after surgery but the portion just isnt the same. I miss a big steak, but love getting skinny more.

At two weeks out you shouldn't be eating anything as solid as steak. Aren't you still on liquids? Or at least puréed/mushies! It's a craving. Better get used to them and figure out a way to deal with them without sabotaging your health and weight loss.

Yes I know I should be eating anything two weeks after surgery. That's why I said it wasn't the answer..

I am only on soft/ liquid foods.

The question was has anyone had this craving and what did you do about it?

I craved my husband's grilled Top Sirloin steak from abt the end of week 2 to abt week 6. So I ate it. pureed that is and thinned with a garlic and onion flavored beef broth...sooooo good!
