July 30, 201411 yr FINALLY my file has been submitted to my insurance company. I am so happy right now I could cry. I know I have yet to be approved but it's one step closer to my dream coming true. In 5-10 business days I will finally have an answer!

August 5, 201411 yr My file was submitted on 1 July and I got my answer (approval) on 1 August. I was very anxious for two weeks and would call to insurance co (Aetna) for updates. This process may take longer than 2 weeks, although I was last of 30 people from my doctor's office approved.
August 5, 201411 yr Good luck! I received my approval from Aetna within 5 business days. The insurance specialist was able to check the status online. My surgery is scheduled for 9/15.

I'm trying to be patient but it's so hard.

Congrats! I hope mine is approved that fast I also have Aetna. Although my surgeons office told me I may be denied due to me gaining weight during my nutritionist program. So I am crossing my fingers I have enough medically wrong with me that they will still approve me.

August 6, 201411 yr I called them just for the heck of it and the insurance got the claim but the pre cert,have not recieved it yet so the insurance was gonna call doc office so they can send it to pre cert team, So that's a start I know it was to soon to call but I figured what r they gonna do yell at me , lol . So now maybe things will be on the roll now. Don't fell bad I think there's a bunch of us waitng. My friend got approved and we both got Aetna . So fingers crossed !!
