Gastric bypass

Hello I'm Mandy and I'm 31 years old and my gastric bypass is scheduled for this Monday July 28 2014!

I'm very excited and terrified at the same time. I don't wanna back out from fear of dying in surgery but I know if I don't do something I'm going to die from being overweight. Do any of you have suggestions to help calm my nerves or any kinda of pep talk etc??

Thanks for the words. I am a surgical assistant in the OR and I have seen several mishaps in the operating room or post surgical infections and or leaks. And I am scared. Good luck on your journey. Keep me posted on your progress please
