  1. Don't have any extra but I do have a suggestion. EAS makes a remade shake with 42 grams of protein that cost around $30 for a twelve pack. I don't know the price of the powder itself but I did find this the cheapest way to meet my protein goals.
  2. I'm only a week out from surgery but was wondering how people order when eating at a restaurant. If you want a salad (my favorite) do you order off the regular menu and ask to make it the size of a side salad so you don't waste? Also wondering if most people were allowed to run after your two week checkup?
  3. Congratulations on this big step. All I can say is I work in the OR and have assisted in a lot of bariatric procedures. I have never witnessed an negative incidents during surgery. I am so comfortable with them that I have mine scheduled for tomorrow. Hope that helps!
  4. Depends on what you do for work. Many people are back within two weeks. I work as a Firefighter and was told to take a month off. I need to find a hobby!
  5. Have to admit that I had to make some adjustments to qualify for insurance coverage. Don't feel bad due to the fact I have given them so much $ over the years. Kept stuff in my pockets for weigh in and bent the knees during my height check. You can find little cheats to help get it covered, although we shouldn't have too. Good luck!

  7. July 25 surgery date looking forward to the journey. I am looking for a good book of food ideas for all stages, any ideas would be appreciated
