How long did your pain last? I had my surgery July 28 and I have been re admitted to the hospital because I have horrible lower left abdominal pain the radiates to my back and I can't get comfortable even with pain meds. I'm worried that something else is wrong. Leak, peritonitis or who knows

Mine took about 3 hours and was in the hospital a whole week due to I couldn't keep anything down. Still can only have water and juice. Can't handle protien shakes just yet

How are you feeling. I had mind July 28 and I'm still in the hospital. Will get out tomoorw so that was 5 days I have to stay

Thanks for the words. I am a surgical assistant in the OR and I have seen several mishaps in the operating room or post surgical infections and or leaks. And I am scared. Good luck on your journey. Keep me posted on your progress please

Hello I'm Mandy and I'm 31 years old and my gastric bypass is scheduled for this Monday July 28 2014! I'm very excited and terrified at the same time. I don't wanna back out from fear of dying in surgery but I know if I don't do something I'm going to die from being overweight. Do any of you have suggestions to help calm my nerves or any kinda of pep talk etc??
