Has anyone had an MRI after being banded? I am scheduled for one today. I read the specs on the band and it has stainless steel in it. I'll let them know when I get there, but was wondering if anyone had had an MRI with one.

My dr gave me a card to put in my purse regarding the band to show to drs and hospitals and it says "The device is MRI compatible":)

I asked that question during my lapband process and was also told you can have MRIs with it in place no problem.
