So how long did you guys wait until you had a drink with alcohol in it? 4th of July weekend and I am REALLY wanting one.

I'm 6 weeks out and plan to have a small drink... Many surgeons have different rules as far as that!

I am 9 weeks and I had my first glass or two of wine yesterday. I had no problems but did get a buzz off two glasses of wine. Be careful and don't drive.

I waited about 6 months. I am almost 1 year out now. I'm trying to not drink due to empty calories but have a few with hubby on special days.

I'm 7 weeks out of surgery and I had my first glass of wine last night. I enjoyed the taste but didn't get a buzz. That surprised me
