Hiccups that wont stop

I have had the hiccups for the past 12 hours, the last thing I ate was tuna fish. Today all I've had is a protein shake, and water. Also, I have diarrhea too... Any suggestions.. (I know gross right)

Maybe if you ate something or drink some cold Water?? It's just some kind of vagus nerve reaction and you might want to try to re-stimulate the nerve with something?

Hope you feel better! I sometimes have trouble with full liquids, like a shake. But that's a lot of hiccuping -- hopefully that has settled down for you. Take it slow.

Sometimes when I eat too fast I get the hiccups (but not anywhere near as long as you). I take a deep breath, hold it for 2 or 3 seconds, then let it out very slowly. I may have to do it 2 or 3 times, but it usually relaxes my esophagus (?) and they go away. Hope you feel better!
