No feeling in right outer knee area

I had lb surgery and after I noticed...I have no feeling in my outer knee area, right side. I can walk fine, but I'm concerned. My nurse said possible sciatica issues from being positioned on the table....I'm kinda scared. Has anyone ever experienced this? Tia

never heard of this but if you are concerned, a call to your doctor is in order

numbness or no feeling is not a good thing...they will give you the answers..

I have been dealing with loss of sensation in my lower left leg and left foot. I had apparently ignored all the signs of a pinched nerve because the pain, tingling and other symptoms were not in my back. HOWEVER....I am in PT now because of it. Go to the doctor and get checked out. For me...a course of prednisone and some modifications on my routine have helped. Most of the symptoms are under control, but the numbness will be with me for a long time until the nerve heals. Don't wait...go get checked.
