Post op soreness

Hey! I was sleeved on Wednesday, June 25th and I am sore beyond belief. Can anyone tell me how long it takes for this soreness to go away.

A large portion goes away at the 3 day mark. For me it was about 3 weeks to be 100% pain free.

I was pain free by day 3 too stoped all pain medication!!

I am also very sore at day 5 but seems to get slightly better day by day.

Day 5 and am occasionally feeling pain. Trying to limit the hydrochodone

i am 5 days post and very little pain other than my drain site. nothing that tylenol wouldn't manage.

try to move and walk as much as possible and stay hydrated. everyone has a different pain response. use heating pads, ice packs also. if necessary call your surgeon's answering service and run it past the on-call person. you may need stronger pain control.

I had very little pain except for one incision on the left hand side. Sharp, stinging, stabbing pain for about 10 days. But all good now. Definitely stay off those Oxynorms, Oxycontin, and Hydrocondone. They are all seriously addictive and seriously difficult to get off. I speak from experience :-)
