not your usual protein shake question

My surgeon's office says I can only use their protein shakes since surgery. They sell bariatric advantage and celebrate mixes. They are 45 dollars a tub. I prefer the protein shake I was getting from sam's club. What is everyone using after their surgery?

My doctor gave me a list of about 2 dozen different Protein shakes/powders to choose from. I also have a question. I am sitting here drinking my 8 oz shake and POP! One of those moments. I am only 4 days away from surgery. How do you fit an 8 oz shake 3 times a day into a 4 oz pouch? Plus get all those liquids in?

You sit there and are drinking all day long. Two oz per 15 minutes. I have not been able to do it, but others have...

The first few weeks is only 4oz, you sip n wait, sip n wait, sip n wait. Then increase it to 5 oz, I'm 3 weeks post and I'm almost at 6oz
