Highschool reunion tonight

No one knows about my surgery- even the friends I still talk to on a regular basis from high school who will be there tonight. I'm almost 2 weeks post op which means- no drinking and none of the food served there. Guess I will be sneaky and order my usual drink without the vodka (water and lime with a splash of cranberry). What's the hardest social situation you had to go through post op without letting on to surgery?

Shiner - my 20 year HS reunion is tonight too - but I have no desire to go. I was sleeved on June 10. You don't happen to be from KY, do you?

I just though - wow - if that's someone from my HS reunion who had surgery at about the same time as me- wow!

Anyway, good luck tonight. I'm sure it will go well. Maybe whatever is served won't be things that are yummy to you, anyway!

I never did go to any of my high school reunions. I never did like those people the first time around anyway. Ironic....I was painfully and unhealthy thin back then and they made fun of my skininess. Oh well. Hopefully you can go and enjoy some good memories while keeping your new little secret close to the vest.
