Nausea Nausea GO AWAY!

I had my 2 week post op visit today and am THRILLED to say that I get to advance my diet from pureed to soft food. NO more gross chicken! But I found that I am quite dehydrated. I was not surprised as my nausea is not going away and I have way too many loose bowel movements (TMI sorry). The nurse practitioner said that it's very common and that I should be eating a little right when I get up and drinking lots more. UGH! I am soooo thirsty! But of course I have to "sip" not gulp or I get sicker even faster. Trying to find a happy medium here. Any suggestions?

And, yes, I am on both Protonix and Zofran.

I'm 7 week out & struggling with nausea & reflux. I still have issues getting enough water. I wish I new the Secret to getting this to stop. It's been pretty rough. Hope you start feeling better!!

It will get better...you may want to try room temperature or hot beverages... they seem to go down easier than ice cold stuff...
