I have my surgery scheduled on June 18th, how is your preop diet going? How much weight have you lost?

I am having my revision from lap band to sleeve on the 28th as well and no preop diet for me. I have my preop apt on the 10th and will find out if he will have me do 1 week of liquids or 2 days of liquids before surgery. He normally does 2 day liquid diet but since I'm having revision he may require a week.

How are you doing? I'm so ready for the 18th to get here.

Yay I'm so excited for us. I have my pre-op appt also on the 10th. I've been on the preop diet since June 4th and definitely have been struggling

I am on the 19th, but I started my pre-op diet yesterday. My doctor only required me to do one week, but I started a couple of days early, and I am so glad I did. I messed up yesterday when I realized none of the Protein drinks I have purchased fit the guidelines my doctor has given. I have been using them but plan to make a trip to the health food store tomorrow. Anyway, yesterday was hard, but I think it was mostly in my head. I am more resolved today and have tried to stay busy. It actually hasn't been too bad today.

I'm scheduled for EKG, bloodwork, and chest X-Ray Friday .... Tomorrow I have my pre-op appt .... It's getting close!!! Have you guys lost weight on the preop diet?

Just had my EKG, blood work, chest X-ray, and ABG. My surgery is at 9am!

I wish I had my time but don't get that till 2 days before. Otherwise all apts are now done so it's just waiting.

you have a busy Friday. I haven't has to do a preop diet but since I got my date confirmed a few weeks ago I am down 6 lbs.

Hello I have surgery June 18 to and I have lost 18,PDS I only had to lose 20 it haven't been easy I had a couple bad days but I'm back on track good luck with everything I will be following you ????

thanks hasn't been easy as I have a lot if stress going in at work and that sweet tooth tries to kick in. ????

I am starting to get nervous ... everything is starting to feel real! I definitely have had my slip ups on this pre-op diet, i talked to my doctor and was honest with him, he said he just wants the majority of the time for me to be doing it right and for sure starting Sunday, I really need to follow it to the letter. It is crazy that this time next week we will all have our sleeves done!
