Newly Banded on March 20

I am 27 years old and I have a six year old son. I have always done different diets with no long term success. I was banded on March 20, 2007 in Houston, Texas. I have a wonderful dr. His name is Dr. Alanis. My weight loss is very slow. I have only lost 21 pounds. I have no idea if I am doing the right thing or not. I have started to walk everyday. He does not give you a fill until you have lost 30 pounds on your own. I am open to comments and help offered.

I had surgery on March 22, I am down 21 lbs. I wont get a fill until 6 weeks after surgery. I have heard that you will lose some in the first weeks but this is really a healing time. I hear you really start losing after your first fill. I am really trying to watch what I eat until then but it is hard. I am getting hungry sometimes. I have started walking too. It sound like you are doing fine.

Good luck let me know how you are doing.
