Have been watching the today show and they had a mother and her daughter that had both gone through WLS. The mother had her surgery before her daughter. They even covered how this is not a picnic and went into the lifestyle changes that must take place. They won a shopping trip to Macey's. Pretty cool! Maybe this exposure will help others to not be so narrow minded where WLS is concerned. We shall see.

I saw pretty good coverage of Lap Band on Dr. Oz's website, too. He covered how insurance companies have lowered the weight limit on approvals. Not sure how I feel about that. Sounds a bit like a money making idea. They were promoting the positive success for diabetics though. Good to have any exposure out there, as you said.
