  • Have you talked to your doctor about this? I can imagine this may be a serious issue!

Please see your Gyn immediately to at least rule out anything harmful is going on.

There could be many reasons for why this is happening to you but I doubt they have much to do with your band other then the fact that you have lost weight and your body and hormones could be out of balance.

That said you should most defiantly get yourself to your OB/GYN and get a check up. Let them know when this started for you and exactly what is happening. They are going to ask for details so don't be afraid to be as graphic with them as necessary for them to get to the bottom of it for you.

Bleeding for that long, or having a constant flow throughout the month even when going through menopause is not normal.

Let us know how your doing!!

I had this problem a couple years ago before I was banded try seeing your gyn. When I went they prescribed some medication to make it stop. It was nothing serious at all! If I were you I wouldn't worry.

I have had this issue as well. My doctor just keeps giving me a pill to make it stop, and then it restarts your cycle. It could be the weight lose and hormone change. I would call your doctor though. There could be a serious issue. Good luck!
