Has anyone evre tried the Dukan program before the lapband ? Did it work a little ? I'm waiting for my date of operation (probably in more or less 8 months) but I'de like to try this to lose a little wait in the next few months...

How is it so far ? Can you now walk or run without any problem ?

Anyone of you had plantar fasciitis in their feet before the lapband ? Did it get better after losing the weight with the lapband ?

Here is what I've read about it : It can be consumed to reduce feelings of hunger, because it acts on the regulating centers of appetite by affecting appetite, easier to track while dieting or weight loss! In fact, it calms the feeling of hunger, while avoiding nutritional deficiencies and fatigue, who often arrive in undertaking a diet. In this case, Spirulina take about 30 minutes before meals or as soon as the sensation of feeling hungry ! In case of intense effort (or to calm a great hunger) you can even triple the recommended daily dose no risk or side effects! Annuler les modifications I don't know if it's true so i'm looking for anyone who has tried once. Maybe even during the pre-op liquid diet...

I've heard that spirulina is one of the highest protein aliment you can find. Has any of you used it as an appetite suppressant ?

Are you actually telling me that you lost ALL your hair ? Completly bald ?

I havent got my operating yet, but I heard a lot about air lost after surgery. Did any of you take anything prior to the sugery to prevent hait lost ? Or even after ? Did it work at all ?

Thank you ! Makes me feel better. Whats worries me the most is the unknow. I have an anxiety personality so I need to plan everything ehead all the time and I know that with this adventure, I will not have any control. Only my body will. I have to learn to let go... Life is like a boxe of chocolate no ?!

What is the feeling of getting stuck ? How do you get it down then ? Do you have to go to the hospital or just drinking hot Water will help it go down ?

It's scary ! I haven't been band yet and all I can read is you guys not being hable to eat anything. What do you eat ? Will chicken or beef be banned of your meals all you life ? Does this mean that I'll have to eat soup all my life ?

I didn't hear any good so far on this procedure. You should be very careful because they have a big purcentage of fail. And fater a few years, at the contrary of what they say, it becomes non reversable ! I hope you'll find something for you.

I Think I feellike telling them. After 15 years working together I feel I want to share this with them. The best is telling them not to give me any negatives thoughs about it no ? I'm on the waiting list (one year max) and the surgeon told me that if he ever have a cancellating, he might call me. So it may be shorter then 1 year...

I wonder how you tell people at work ? Do you tell at all or you keep it to yourself ? We are a small team at work (less then 10) so I don't know if I should tell them. I know I will have to tell my boss, but what about my coworkers ?
