Stomach Growling

Hi All.....I had my sleeve surgery on 2/4/2014. I remember one of the first things I told the nurse......my stomach is growling like I am hungry......and I can't tell if I am.

Well here I am 10 weeks later and having this stomach growling worse than ever. The funny thing is, it starts as soon as I eat anything! If I don't eat, I don't have my stomach yelling at me!!

When I do eat, I just don't feel like I get any satisfaction. I make sure I am getting entry of Protein. This is my main item during my meals. So much so, that sometimes this is all I able to get in. I thought the protein was suppose to keep me full longer. There just is no satisfaction, and the stomach grumbling is awful. Last visit to the doctors, they told me this is normal. I just don't feel it is.

Has anyone experienced this or something similar?

Thanks

I had lots of stomach growling and I burped al lot in the beginning. I am 2 1/2 months post op and the growling isn't so much now. However I still feel the need to burp every so often. I think it is just normal considering all the changes we had to go through. My first thought was your protein, but you answered that right off stating you are meeting your protein requirements. Maybe it is more "digestive" noise than "growling" you are hearing. :)

stomach is growling

OMG

that was YOUR tummy i heard? :o ;)

luckily i was wearing my ear phone at the time!!!! ;)

many/most/me have had issues with tummy noises - burping and sneezing too

sorry the Protein isn't really filling you up

can't advice you on that

but.....your noises will subside, and as your doc said, its norm :)

good luck
