Protein

9 days post op and barely getting any protein in:/ I can't stay hydrated and drink protein it's one or the other and well I prefer water, I'm lost on what to do. Suggestions???

I think you are going to HAVE to get some protein in!

You've got to get both your Protein and Water in, you simply have to do it for your health. I know it is hard, but do your best. Sending hugs :)

Try different brands - many have sample packs. Try hot cocoa or chicken Soup type protein mixes, try clear fruit flavored Isopure type protein. You can mix your protein into Gelatin and make protein Jello, or freeze it into popsicles, or mix it into sugarfree jello pudding.

Even a glass of nonfat milk will help you at this point.
