I recall getting my fills after surgery. I couldn't wait to see if I had better restriction. The suspense was overwhelming and I only lasted about 30 hours till I had to have something solid to see if there was a difference. I usually started with soup for lunch the next day and if that went well I would go for salmon or chicken for dinner.

Don't be like me, follow your doctors orders

Do like 2mf says. I've always been bad too and usually only make it 24 hours on liquid, and sometimes that's a stretch. I have wondered if that's the reason I'm not in my green zone yet with 6.5CC in my band. I have a fill (no. 7) scheduled for Monday and I'm promising myself I'll be good. So you be strong so I can be strong. I'll be looking Monday to see if you made it and how well your feeling any changes to the restriction.

well thanks everyone (2muchfun, Slowjourney and Bama53) I did really good...stayed on liquids the first day and then through 1 pm on Friday and then had some soup but went back to liquid...cuz I felt some strange pain in my back/shoulder. So will try again today!!! Hope you all have an awesome weekend!!!

Edited by Mikee57

Hi Mikee, that pain in your back/shoulder may be your soft stop signal, something I haven't figured out yet for myself. Great to listen in to your body like that and let it tell you when you've had enough. Exciting times! Glad things are going so well. You are really on your way now. Best wishes!
