Weird Post Op Question

Hey everyone! I have always been the exception to most rules, but this time I hope I am not alone. I am 10 days post op and since the surgery, well since I have gone beyond Clear liquids, I have had the worse taste in my mouth! Like with anything, juice, flavored Water, my soft foods, I get the worst taste in my mouth!

And in the morning -- WHEW!!! So, am I alone in this, or is has this happened to anyone else?

Grabbing for sugar free mints!

    You're not alone!

  • It's because of the high Protein, low carb diet. Your body is in ketosis and it causes bad breath. It should go away when you start eating more fruits and veggies.

Oh girl, those Protein shakes take it to a WHOLE other level! I have been hearing about the oil pulling, and now I may really have to try it. Thanks for the tip!

If you don't find it there @@BigGirlPanties it will be in any health food section at the grocery stores.

I cannot stand the smell of Coconut as suntan oil or vanilla..It makes me want to gag. but it is a really great moisturizer and there is little to no smell afterwards. Just soft silky smoothness...I had trouble writing that last bit!!!LOL
