Please help...4 days post op

I had surgery 3/31. All was good until I started having this pain that I assumed was gas. It floats around the left side of my body (shoulder and neck). When I lay down it feels like I'm being choked. I have to move around to get it in the right place. Sometimes it makes me cough which usually causes me to dry heave (except last night, some yellow stuff came out). If I could just get rid of this pain I would be good. Any thoughts?

I had issues with the gas causing me pain in my chest until 6 days post op. My doctor did tell me that if I felt it in my left shoulder I needed to call them tho so you may want to look into that. The only thing I could really do to help it was move around and walk! Wishing you well :) it does go away!

Believe it or not I was laying on my stomach that seemed to help!!
