  1. Thanks for all the advice! I was extremely dehydrated so they had me on Iv which really helped and then testing showed I have pancreatitis which is causing all the vomiting. My body isn't digesting food properly because everything is swollen. I was told I need to be on bed rest and drink As much fluids as I can until it heals. So far I haven't gotten sick in over 24hours! I'm feeling more normal now and hopefully it only gets better from here
  2. I am at the hospital now on an Iv and going to be getting a cat-scan. Hopefully I can get done answers!
  3. I'm considering going to the hospital right now for dehydration. I can eat some of those things down but the problem is that even if it's a couple hours later I always end up throwing everything up. I have talked to my dr and they just tell me to be patient and go slow and it'll get better. But it's not.
  4. I am so torn about how to feel right now. I am 2.5 weeks out and have dropped 30lbs, personally i feel like that's a lot. However my complications may explain it. I can't eat or drink anything besides water without throwing it up. It's awful, sometimes it's right away sometimes it's hours later. I've also noticed I'm going .. Going to the bathroom.. At all, does it seem like there's an issue with my digestion? I'm getting worried because it's not getting better. Any advice?
  5. I would love to move on to soft foods! I'm gonna call tomorrow. Even purée would be fine. All I eat is broth and water and a few sips of juice.
  6. This liquid diet is killing me. At first it was okay but now I just feel hungry and just want to put something substantial in my stomach. Is it to soon? Just something soft.. Any ideas?
  7. I was sleeved 3/26 and am down 20lbs. I also can't get any of the protein down and I have been feeling the nausea soooo bad. Everyday gets a little better tho! Can't wait to get off the liquid diet.
  8. I actually just had a small spoon of creamy pb and it was perfect and satisfying, I needed something besides the liquids! Thank you for responding I push off the eggs until after I see my nutritionist on thurs.
  9. How bad would it be if I had a bite or two if scrambled eggs? No milk or anything just need something besides liquid in my tummy!
  10. I had issues with the gas causing me pain in my chest until 6 days post op. My doctor did tell me that if I felt it in my left shoulder I needed to call them tho so you may want to look into that. The only thing I could really do to help it was move around and walk! Wishing you well it does go away!
  11. It is believed that I have developed lactose intolerance. I have been downgraded to clear liquids, non creamy broths, jello and stuff like that and so far so good. I will have to come up with a new plan for protein shakes tho. Any good flavor free protein powders?
  12. Anything thicker than water or crystal light is to much for me too! I feel okay when stick to clears so I'm just going to do that. I have an appt at 215 to make sure I'm not dehydrated too. Each day is a litter better with everything besides this vomiting.
  13. Yes I am on liquid only diet, I can't seem to keep anything except water down. I did just call my doctor so hopefully it will get resolved today. Thank you.
  14. My stomach still doesn't seem to want to keep anything down.. Anyone experience this? I have no pain. Worried I'm going to get dehydrated..
  15. I am still vomiting up just about everything. Seems the only thing I can handle is water and that even comes up eventually. Any advice? I'm suppose to start vitamins and protein today but I don't see that happening.
  16. I sort of figured it was from the pain meds but they are freaking me out. I'm cutting out pain meds now tho so hopefully they stop!
  17. I don't know if the anesthesia is to blame but I am 6 days post op and have had crazy weird dreams every night. I wake up heart racing and don't want to go back to sleep... Anyone?
  18. Unsweetened applesauce has been my go to strangely enough, it's the only thing that has satisfied me so far so I'm afraid to try anything else.
  19. Didn't get much advice other than it's normal. As long as you are getting your fluids the feeling will pass. I'm making sure I'm sipping water throughout the day a few spoonfuls of unsweetened apple sauce has agreed with my tummy. Once the swelling goes goes down you will feel a lot better. I had a lot of issues the first few days that are finally resolving themselves. As long as each day is a little better be proud of yourself!
  20. I'm having to same issues. I'm 5 days out and feel like I'm constantly spitting up phlem and feeling like there something in my chest. I'm also getting hiccups which is very uncomfortable. My advice is to just keep sipping even if it's coming back up. I think swelling is part of it too, I have a dr appt today and plan on mentioning it. I hope you are improving! I will be sure to post any new info I find out today. I feel your pain tho!
  21. Hi there, I am 4 days post op and doing okay. I've had some issues with vomiting and am really struggling to keep anything down besides water. I did well with applesauce today but that's it. The gas pains are the worst tho! I have that and keep getting hiccups, the two together are quite painful. Each day is better tho and I think we all know that in a few months we are going to be looking and feeling great! Hope you all continue to have success!!
  22. I totally agree. I am almost through day 4 and it has totally improved! I'm still unable to keep much besides water down. I just don't think my tummy is ready for more. The smell is getting to me too! I've def noticed things turning my stomach just from the scent. Soon enough we will be looking and feeling so good we won't even care about this phase!
  23. I have been sipping, thing are actually better today though! I've had a bumpy few days but I know it's all gonna work out fine!
  24. My sleeve surgery was 3/26. As of now I'm having issues with hiccups, back and chest pain prob caused my gas and still vomiting most of what I take in.. Any advice?
