3 days out im not getting enough H2O

Hi I had surgery this Monday 3/31/14. I'm only drinking half a water bottle is this normal? I don't want to get dehydrated. Any advice? I'm taking a sip every 7 minutes. I feel like I'm not meeting the Expectations yet.

You aren't meeting expectations....it takes a while so just keep at it. I'm 7 weeks out and I'm still not meeting my water intake levels. It's a process we all have to work at so don't stress too much

Hey my surgery was 3/31 as well. I'm taking in about 40 oz of water a day. I try to get in 4 oz every hour. I use a small cup which helps a bit. I was told by the nurse that is starts off very difficult to get the water in which is why they fill you up with IV fluids. Good luck to you!
