So far on my trip, I've been able to deal with the food. I've been ordering from the kids menu, so that's good. But they don't have any take home boxes! I had some fish to take back to my room, and they made me sign something saying that I won't sue them for deteriorating quality of food. What??!!

No unfortunately we don't do take home boxes, occasionally I can persuade a waiter to wrap up some meat for the dog in foil, but that is as good as it gets.

Yes, us Brits don't do 'take home' usually. As Cathy said - you get foil, or nothing.

As for signing a disclaimer on the fish? Yep, I can see that. We developed those litigious tendencies from you lot across the pond. That aside, we're not the types to re-heat fish anyway, purely because of how far certain fish have to travel - so that might have something to do with it.

My advice? Eat fresh and eat once.

Snacks for home? Get stuff with a longer shelf life.
