It might just be your breath. I have found that mine is NASTY since surgery.

Oh ok so it's not just me. I just can't get rid of this metal taste in my mouth. No matter how many times I brush and gargle.

It's the anesthesia purging it's self out of your body..it's normal, that's why you have to keep sipping all day on fluids to flush it out, the more you drink the quicker it will flush out. Anesthesia unfortunately stays in your body up to a year..

Oh wow! Thank you for that information. I had no idea it stays in our system that long. And I'm going to be honest, I'm not sipping like I should so I will start ASAP. Thanks again :-)

Anytime, please keep sipping because you will get dehydrated and can lose a lot of hair that way..keep me posted!

Sure thing. Today I've done much better with my sipping and the metal taste subsided! :-)
