  1. Sure thing. Today I've done much better with my sipping and the metal taste subsided! :-)
  2. Oh wow! Thank you for that information. I had no idea it stays in our system that long. And I'm going to be honest, I'm not sipping like I should so I will start ASAP. Thanks again :-)

  4. Oh ok so it's not just me. I just can't get rid of this metal taste in my mouth. No matter how many times I brush and gargle.
  5. I'm 5 days post op.
  6. I also was getting cold feet toward my date. I was having nightmares and everything. My eyes were even playing tricks on me. Whenever I would look in the mirror I saw a size 12 gal looking at me. Lol. I started second guessing myself like is it really this serious. Maybe I can just eat healthy and exercise. But that's been my story all my life and what made me really decide to do it was the 1 week pre op diet. It reminded me that I needed help. I can't do it on my own. I was hungry and feeling like I wanted to cheat. And I only had to do that for 1 week so I thought how do i think I can do this alone for a life time. I NEEDED HELP! and I am so happy they came up with the sleeve!

  10. That's awesome. I can't wait to get in the gym!
  11. Wow! I am speechless. You rock! You gave me inspiration to get my butt in the gym. I'm only 5 days post op but as soon as my Dr give me the ok to get in the gym I will be there! Do you do a lot of cardio or just toning?
  12. Wow! You look amazing! You had the surgery Dec 1o, 2013? We're you working out also? That was really fast.
  13. Did anyone experience metal tasting tongue? For some reason I keep a nasty metal taste in my mouth. It sucks that I can't have gum yet.

  15. Hi guys! I am new to this. So far I am doing great. I've experienced gas and hunger pains. My stomach was growling and I'm able to DRINK not just sip but drink liquids like a normal person. It goes down well with no restrictions. I dont take gulps but im not getting fulfilled. That concerned me a bit. Idk if thats a good thing or bad. But after speaking with a few ppl who are sleeved they suggested to sip a Lil more throughout the day and that helped. However, I still get cravings and desires for food. I wish it was the other way around. But different strokes for different folds I guess. I don't have any regrets. I love it. I just thought I would not have any interest in food and I DO lol.
  16. Wow! You look amazing. Keep up the good work!
