Protein2O

Have you guys seen these?

post-183096-0-97207800-1395500624_thumb.jpg

It's 15 grams of Protein in 70 calories and 2 carbs. I saw them at my local grocer and picked one up. I have to say that they taste way better than Isopure and are a lot less expensive. I wonder about protein quality, though, as it is a whey/ collagen blend. Any thoughts?

Hmmm, I'm going looking for those.

These are at GNC. 40 grams of protein. These are nice for me because it's hard for me to eat protein. I don't like meat.

I was told to stay away from any protein containing collagen.

A lot of people are turned off by the Isopure because of the taste/after taste. Someone here recommended halfing it w G2 which is fantastic. I drink 10oz everyday now to get my protein in.

I'm curious why collagen based protein is not recommended? I haven't heard this, so I am just curious on their reasoning. Maybe it is a quality thing or an absorbability thing?

Sorry it took me a month to see this... My dietician told me that collagen, while technically a protein, isn't absorbed or isn't absorbed as well.
