  1. 6 months post op. Feeling great. Lost almost 50lbs since surgery. Almost 75 since the before pic. It's nice to finally see results after all these years of struggling. I am sooo happy I went through with the sleeve surgery. )

    The Ghost Sleeve

Not really. Maybe a little. Once you eat food that you actually have to chew you will notice. Make sure you chew, chew, chew!! ????

    The Ghost Sleeve

Don't worry this is normal. (It happened to me anyway). In my experience they tell you to eat like that to start new habits and to prevent any discomfort. Liquids and soft foods travel pretty quickly through your sleeve which is why you aren't feeling any restriction. Also they say you may still be numb in that area so eating slow and measuring is important so you don't hurt yourself and not be aware of it. You will definitely feel more restriction with regular foods. This is definitely where you want to practice eating slower. I was always a fast eater and even into my maintenance stage would catch myself eating too fast. This can be extremely painful if you eat too much/fast and it gets stuck.

My boobs are my best friend.

I am 33 sleeved in October. I went from a 42 DD to a 34DD. I expected to loose a cup size but only inches in the torso. Everyone is different.
  7. I have been stuck at 200 lbs since the beginning of the month. Has anyone had a plateau for a while like that? I have lost 42 lbs since October and I don't think I'm having the best results. Any advice?

    Protein2O

These are at GNC. 40 grams of protein. These are nice for me because it's hard for me to eat protein. I don't like meat.
  9. It could absolutely be the fish. In my experience there are a few things I haven't been able to tolerate without explanation. It could have been the amount of food also. I have been ok with certain things but then ate it again in a slightly larger amount and was sick.

    Overeating

My doc is pretty standoffish with directions and I have just been winging it. I was sleeved in October and I eat pretty much anything. Sugary stuff makes me sick but other than that I can handle small amounts if anything. I don't measure when I'm eating. Does anyone measure? And if so what portion sizes and foods work best for fellow sleevers. Feeling lost and out of the loop.
  11. Hi! I am 33 and was also sleeved on 10/29!!!
